Here are pictures of where we are now. We have taken all the carpets, doors, and casings out, and the border from the walls down (that was fun ..not). Jason also built a wall to separate the garage from the living space downstairs and has started insulating the basement ceilings. Before, you pulled the car into the garage and right into the house.

Next we will be washing and spackling and painting walls. Then, installing the flooring. Our new stove comes in this weekend! (thank you Tom and Sherrie!).

I can't, however, explain the water heater.
